FLAT ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION

Pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, PA 110, Public Acts of 2006, as amended, notice is hereby given that the City of Flat Rock Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:30 P.M., Monday, April 26, 2021, at the Flat Rock Community Center, 1 Maguire St., Flat Rock, MI 48134. Should the location of the meeting change for any reason it will be held in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended, MCL 15.261 and updated information will be made available on the City's website.

The public hearing will be held to consider to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) amendment request to the Stonewater PUD at the northeast corner of Gibraltar Road and Cahill Road to allow a religious institutional use with a building of up to 35,429 square feet. The religious use would replace the currently-approved 13 multifamily condo/apartment buildings.

All interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearing and present their comments. Written comments concerning the proposal may be submitted to the City of Flat Rock Planning Commission, 25500 Gibraltar Rd., Flat Rock, MI 48134, prior to the hearing date
