Update from Ford

Ford knows the past few weeks have been difficult for you, and we feel badly about problems caused by the incident at our Flat Rock Assembly Plant. Like you, we're hopeful it will soon be possible for everyone who evacuated from Zone 1 to confidently return home. In the meantime, Ford's support will continue:

- First, we're extending hotel accommodations for Zone 1 residents to Sunday, Oct. 3, pending earlier notification by health officials that the area is clear of effects from the gas leak. There's no action you need to take to stay in your hotel room.
o If you have hotel-related needs, please call 734-782-2455, extension 1104 or 1105.
- Second, we've committed to providing every household in Zone 1 and Zone 2 with $1,000 to help cover expenses. Secure checks will be delivered to household via Fed Ex on Monday, Sept. 27.
o Households that have gotten $500 in gift cards from Ford will also get checks for $500. Where no gift cards have been received, the checks will be for $1,000.

Flat Rock Resident Public Health Survey

Flat Rock Resident Public Health Survey

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) is conducting this survey to collect information about people who live in the City of Flat Rock, Michigan. This is in response to the release of gasoline from the Flat Rock Ford Assembly Plant into the City of Flat Rock sanitary sewer system.
We would like to know about odors and health issues that you, or anyone from your household, experienced. The survey is online and should take about 15 minutes to complete.
Only one adult, 18 years or older, from your household should answer this survey. This means that one person will answer the survey on behalf of all people that live in the household, including family and non-family members.
We only want one survey per household, so please only complete the survey once.
All the information you provide on this survey will be kept confidential and will be securely stored. We will protect the information you share with us to the fullest extent allowed by law.
You can choose not to answer any question that you do not want to.
Here is a link to the survey: https://tinyurl.com/dvrsvyja

If you have any questions about the survey, please call MDHHS at 800-648-6942.
