Property Tax Information

Summer taxes are billed on July 1st and payable by August 31st each year.
Winter taxes are billed on December 1st and payable by February 14th of the following year.
If due date falls on weekend or holiday, the due date will be the next business day.

Summer Taxes - NOW LATE
Summer Taxes are payable without penalty by August 31, 2023 by 4:30pm. Penalty and interest fees will be accrued after this date.

Winter Taxes
TAXES NOT PAID BY MARCH 1, 2024 WILL NEED TO BE PAID TO WAYNE COUNTY.
BOTH SUMMER AND WINTER TAXES ARE PAYABLE THROUGH FEBRUARY. AS OF MARCH 1ST, ALL UNPAID TAXES WILL BE CONSIDERED DELINQUENT AND SENT TO THE WAYNE COUNTY TREASURER, AT WHICH TIME THEY WILL NO LONGER BE PAYABLE THROUGH THE CITY OF FLAT ROCK.
