Zoning Board of Appeals

Meetings are held the 2nd Monday of every month at 7:00PM. At City Hall - Conference Room "A"

If you have a project that needs to go before ZBA please email buildingsafety@flatrockmi.org with a ZBA Application completely filled out.

All information and payment needs to be submitted 20 days prior to the meeting date. A 300 ft notice and article in the News Herald of the appeal will be sent out 15 days prior to the meeting.

The fee to go before the board is $200.

Some plans require a Site Plan Deposit/Performance Bond. If it does please fill out the form.

If there is a property undergoing ZBA approval and you would like to voice your opinion, please fill out the Request for Approval or Objection sheet.

All Members and proceedures abide by the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act and in accordance with our Ordinance.

If you would like to be apart of the Zoning Board please fill out this Application to turn into the Clerk's Office.
