Wayne County Treasurer Statement

Please read the below document from the Wayne County Treasurer regarding past due taxes.

Statement from the Wayne County Treasurer

All tax and water payments to the City of Flat Rock must be received in our office on or before the due date of the bill or they will be subject to late fees and interest.  We will no longer accept the postmark date for payments.

NOTE: If you use your financial institution's bill-pay option, they do not guarantee delivery of the check to our office by the specified due date.  Please plan your payments accordingly.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic pet licenses will now be available without penalty until Monday June 1, 2020.

Please put $7 (check or money order) & current rabies vaccination document into the drop box (located near the flag pole) and we will mail you a copy of your receipt, vaccination record, and pet tag(s) within a week. Please make sure that all information is correct on the vaccination (i.e. owner/pet name, address & phone number)

If you have any further questions please contact the Treasurer's Office at 734.789.2305
